The Messengers: A Podcast Documentary started as a random thought that wouldn’t go away. What followed was an incredible ride that had us traveling the world chasing that vision.
Although the movie focuses on the medium of podcasting, the podcasters featured are everyday people who chose to make a difference. Little did they know that they would impact thousands, and in some cases, millions of lives through their work.
What we the filmmakers didn’t know when we began was just how much making this film would impact our own lives for the better.
After thousands of hours working on this project, the crew and I are on a mission to get this movie seen across the country. We have commissioned this commemorative program to serve as a companion to the film, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the stories behind the stories you’ll hear in the film. Our hope is that this documentary will inspire everyone who sees it to be a Messenger.
